West Chester University stays on top of Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll going into postseason

GILBERT, Ariz. — For the fifth time in 10 weeks of voting, West Chester University sits in first place on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll. The Golden Rams currently have a 15-2 record and the first seed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship tournament, which begins today. No. 1 West Chester will host the final two rounds of the tournament and play the winner of today's game between No. 7 Kutztown University and No. 8 Millersville University.

Coming in at second place this week are the Pace University Setters who currently tout a 17-1 record and first seed in the Northeast 10 championship tournament. Pace will start the championship series tonight with a quarterfinal game against Assumption College — the first-round game will pit the Setters against the team that gave them their only loss of the year, which came in a non-conference matchup early in September.

Rounding out the top five this week are No. 3 East Stroudsburg University, No. 4 Shippensburg University and No. 5 Merrimack College, all of whom will be competing in their respective conference tournaments this week.
