Rose, Vogel named Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Weekly Award winners

GILBERT, Ariz. — Kayleigh Vogel, freshman goalkeeper from Bentley University, and Halley Rose, senior forward from No. 4 Pace University, are this week's Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Defensive Player of the Week

Kayleigh Vogel, Bentley University, Fr., Goalkeeper (Greenland, New Hampshire)

In her first two career starts, Vogel posted 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage while helping Bentley University to wins over Franklin Pierce University, 3-0, and Assumption College, 2-1. She had three saves in her first career shutout and five saves against the Hounds.

Longstreth/NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week

Halley Rose, Pace University, Sr., Forward (Dauphin, Pennsylvania)

Rose put together a six-point performance last week for No. 4 Pace University. She began by scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to beat No. 8 LIU Post, 3-2. Rose followed up by recording both of the Setters' tallies in a 2-1 road win over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday afternoon.

Bridget Hoogendijk, Lindenwood University, Jr., Midfielder/Forward (Hendrik Ido Ambacht, The Netherlands)

Hoogendijk scored three goals and had one assist in a 2-0 week for the Lindenwood University Lions. Hoogendijk scored one goal and assisted on another in last Friday's win over Bellarmine Unviersity. Then on Saturday, she scored the game-tying goal and the game-winning goal with no time remaining in a closely contested 3-2 win over Queens University of Charlotte.
