Five undefeated teams feature on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll

GILBERT, Ariz. — Middlebury College continues their unbeaten streak and their command of first place on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll in week six. Last week, No. 1 Middlebury went 3-0 in games against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, No. 17 Trinity College and Wesleyan University. Joining the Panthers at the top of the poll are undefeated No. 2 Messiah College, No. 3 Tufts University, unbeaten No. 4 Rowan University and No. 5 The College of New Jersey.

Two other undefeated teams feature on the poll this week — No. 6 University of Rochester with a 14-0 record and No. 18 Washington & Jefferson College with a 12-0 record.

Tonight, No. 4 Rowan will host No. 5 TCNJ at 7:00 p.m. for a competitive conference matchup. The rest of the week is sure to be exciting as Division III wraps up its regular season and all Division III teams look to continue their runs into the postseason.

The next Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll will be announced on Tuesday, October 23. The poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the 2018 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship.
