Top five remain unchanged in week three of the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll

GILBERT, Ariz. — The University of North Carolina stays at the top of the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll for another week. They are followed by the University of Connecticut and the University of Maryland — all three teams are still touting an undefeated record. Staying ranked at number four is Duke University and at number five is Princeton University.

Two other teams appearing on the top-25 remain undefeated. Old Dominion University (No. 11) improved to 7-0 this week with an overtime win over the University of Virginia (No. 10) and a 6-1 victory over Big East Conference opponent, Providence College. The University of Maine (No. 18) is the fifth undefeated team appearing on the poll — the Black Bears had two decisive wins over Cornell University and University of California, Davis this past weekend. They will face Harvard University (No. 20) this Sunday, the two teams have been neck-and-neck on the poll for the past several weeks.

Fourteen games this week will feature competition between top-25 teams, the first of which will take place tonight — the University of Maryland (No. 3) will travel to Princeton University (No. 5) for a 6:00 p.m. (EST) pushback.
